Through evidence-informed, results-oriented philanthropy, The Portland Clinic Foundation supports nonprofits that improve community wellness and advance the social determinants of good health—whether through early-childhood education, environmental clean-up, racial equity advocacy, domestic violence prevention, or a groundbreaking local theater production.
The yearly annual report for TPCF serves two purposes. First, it must communicate a more in-depth vision of the organization, its mission, and financial information. Second, it must act as an attention grabbing magazine for patients in the waiting areas that clearly ties into the overarching brand identity of The Portland Clinic.
With a super tight budget, I needed to design without the need for expensive bleeds or die cuts. This is why there is a faux cutout on the cover with the same image revealed behind on the first spread. I also created the hand-drawn icons and photographed the woman on page 12. Whatever it takes to get a professional final product!
